Henselite (Australia) Pty Ltd installed the INSIGHT IMS ERP package on the 4th April, 2005.

Based in Melbourne and established in 1930, Henselite is the world's largest indoor and outdoor bowls manufacturer and distributor.

Apart from it's industry leading bowls, it manufactures club clothing, and sells a full range of related accessories and equipment. They have won many export awards and are an inductee of the Helms Foundation Hall of Fame in the USA for outstanding achievement in Lawn Bowls.

Managing Director, Mark Hensell, said that “he was extremely pleased with his decision to purchase the package. Having looked at some 15 products, some looked good on the surface but a closer look found that they were either overly complex and/or did not meet all our requirements”.

“The system is very user friendly and the flow of information, particularly in inventory control and manufacturing, is greatly improved. The ability to cater for a variety of complex inventory structures and track and manage inventory through online ABC analysis and product attributes has given us a perspective and a focus that is now fundamental to analysing and running our business”.

“Point of Sale was not part of the original specification but some six months into the implementation we decided to open our own retail stores. We are very pleased with the speedy and efficient way this was handled, particularly given that we required Trade Ins’ and Demonstration stock to be catered for, all with serial number tracking”
