Overview

INSIGHT utilises JADE, a leading edge development tool and object database used by thousands of businesses worldwide.

It runs in a client/server environment using Windows 2000/98/NT/XP/ME, Linux or IBM AIX.

All Modules are fully integrated within a multi user environment with live inactive update, and operates with the following structures and features:

Navigation

Forms in every module are consistent and this results in reduced training and implementation times, and efficient use and navigation of the system.

Form headers consist of two sections:

  • Selection Parameters that cater for enquires and information requests, and
  • Processing action buttons that enable entry and maintenance of new entries

Selection parameters are comprehensive and result in less printed reports as on screen enquires satisfy the majority of requirements.

Reporting

Reporting throughout the system is based on you determining what you see and what form information output takes.


In the example above selections can be made for:

  • Period - both calendar month(s) and date range
  • Items required to be reported i.e. All or selected Receipts, Issues, Cost, and Bin transfers etc
  • Items specific to a given Customer, Supplier or location(s)
  • All or specific products

Once selection is complete there are a number of output options:

  • Preview prior to printing
  • Schedule for printing at a later time
  • Export to Excel
  • Email as a PDF document, or
  • Save to file.

Executive Summary

Log on each morning and see how your business is performing. Monitor your key business drivers with the ability to drill down to the base transaction and it's detail.

View Sales and Margin performance by month and year to date by any combination of:

  • Area
  • Customer
  • Product
  • Warehouse Location
  • Salesman, and
  • End User (market segment)

Similarly you can:

  • Track average daily sales and average required to achieve budget for the month
  • Track late deliveries, back orders and view all Sales Orders
  • View Receivables Aging by customer and month to date collections
  • View Creditors Aging by Supplier and aged payments for the month,
  • View Inventory ABCD and Rankings together with turnover and months cover by inventory item
  • View summary Cash Flow position
